Wedding and Tiered Cakes

There's something about a tiered cake that's a bit more special that even the fanciest layer cake.  Even when the tiers are small, people will stop and take notice of a cake with two or more graduated tiers, and unlike a sheet cake, a stacked cake definitely makes a statement.  While tiered cakes are expected at a wedding, there's no reason they can't be made for birthday's, holidays, showers--- you name it.
